 Gum disease is one of those infections that does not like to “make noise”. It creeps into your mouth and continues to weaken your oral health if you are not on your guard. This is because it is painless in the initial stages. However, if you are keen and pay close attention, you can catch it and reverse it before it turns grave and some of your teeth have to go.What Are The Initial Signs Of Gum Disease?The first sign that will let you know something might be wrong is if you have swollen gums that are red in color. The second thing you'll notice is that the swollen gums bleed easily. This means that even without using a lot of force on your toothbrush, your spit always seems to have some blood in it. Another early sign is having bad breath. Taking a bite from food that has gone bad will produce a similar result. However, if you still have bad breath even after regular brushing and flossing, then it could be an indication of gum disease. The last sign on the early bunch is having gums that have pulled away from your teeth.
